On January 16, 2025, the Vietnam Pepper and Spice Association (VPSA) held its 2024 Annual Conference in Ho Chi Minh City. This significant event marked over a year since the association expanded its scope to include spices such as cinnamon, star anise, ginger, turmeric, and chili. The conference gathered nearly 100 representatives from enterprises, cooperatives, and organizations involved in the import-export of pepper and spices, alongside media outlets covering the industry.
During the event, DK Commodity was honored to receive the Top 10 Pepper Exporter Award, recognizing our substantial contributions to Vietnam's pepper export sector. Despite a 5.1% decrease in export volume, the industry achieved a remarkable 45.4% increase in export value, reaching USD 1.318 billion in 2024. This growth is attributed to a significant rise in export prices, with black pepper prices increasing by approximately 45% and white pepper by about 34% compared to the previous year.
DK Commodity remains committed to maintaining high-quality standards and contributing to the sustainable development of Vietnam's pepper and spice industry.
